Your privacy is a trust, and we treat it that way. This policy explains what the Masjid Al-Rahman app ("the App") does with your information. The short version: your personal information belongs to you, and the App does not collect it.
The App has no user accounts, no ads, and no analytics. We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information, and we do not use any third-party tracking. What happens on your device stays on your device.
If you choose to enable "Use My Location," the App uses your device's location to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction for where you are. This calculation is performed on your device, and the App does not send your location to us or to any third party of ours. To determine your position and to display the name of your city, the App relies on the location and map services built into iOS; that information is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. The App requests location only while you are using it, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings. If you do not enable it, the App shows times for Masjid Al-Rahman and does not request your location.
Some parts of the App display content from our website (masjidalrahman.net) — for example, news articles and the donation page — and may open web pages in a browser view or in Safari. Like any website, those pages may use cookies or collect information through your browser, and any details you choose to enter there (including on the donation page or with a payment provider) are handled under the website's and that provider's own privacy practices. These are separate from the App and are not controlled by it. The App itself has no sign-in and does not ask you for personal information.
